
At Montana Fur Harvesters , our mission is to provide education and resources to support our outdoors community. This year the event is being held in the totally enclosed indoor arena near Kalispell. This venue will be housing the entire event plus some onsite RV camping and lots of primitive sites with bathrooms and showers.

Don't miss the chance to meet special guests from the History Channel's acclaimed show, THE MOUNTAIN MEN! Visit with Tom and Nancy Oar, Paul Antczak, Jake Herak from Montana, as well as Bret Bohn, Ivy O’Guinn, and Lauro Ecklund from Alaska, Josh Kirk—plus potentially other cast members. These guests will be hosting vendor booths throughout the event, giving you the opportunity to interact with them and learn more about their experiences.

In addition, there will be special events for kids and families, offering fun activities and educational experiences tailored for all ages. Families can learn about our native predaters, furbearers and prey species.Learn their names and handle their furs.These programs aim to foster a sense of community and encourage family participation throughout the day.

For additional spaces and options see below. Add $75 for additional spaces, $25 for each 8' table or $20 for 6' table, $3 per chair, $25 for electric, $50 for Drapes. Hours are Thursday setup noon to 9pm. OPENS TO PUBLIC, Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturday 8am to 4pm. Sunday move out 8am to noon.
Free continental breakfast Friday and Saturday 6:30 to7:30am. Free Pot Luck Dinner Friday evening from 6pm till 9pm for vendors, campers and volunteers. Hamburgers/hot dogs/chili provided.

Most are centered on past skills and traditions. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with experts, allowing them to learn techniques in a practical setting. The sessions are designed to be interactive, encouraging attendees to ask questions and practice newly acquired skills.

Heritage themes will be emphasized throughout the event, highlighting the cultural significance of traditional practices and crafts. Attendees will be encouraged to explore the history behind each demonstration, connecting modern experiences with time-honored values. Be sure to dress for the Saturday Mountain Man Dress contest prize.
As an event celebrating Montana heritage, we encourage all attendees to dress in attire representing the time period. This adds to the authenticity and enjoyment of the occasion, helping everyone connect with Montana’s rich history. Please feel free to get creative with your outfits and immerse yourself in the spirit of the era!

Expositions of different historical practices used such as, use of horses, hounds, muzzle loader shoots, axe throwing, trap setting, fur handling, archery and tanning hides.

Join us for a Banquet Saturday evening featuring Montana Prime Beef and a variety of delicious side dishes. Seating is limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early to ensure you don’t miss out on this special event. The evening will include drinks, a live auction, silent auction, games with exciting firearm prizes, a tribute to veterans, and plenty of raffle items, making it a memorable night for all attendees.

Guest Speaker, Tom Opre will be speaking during the banquet His latest acclaimed release, The Real Yellowstone (2025), amplifies the voices of multigenerational ranching families across the American West, exploring their complex relationships with wildlife, land, and survival. With a global digital cinema premiere and screenings for state and federal policymakers, The Real Yellowstone has earned praise for its gritty realism and nuanced exploration of conservation, community rights, and the American rural experience. Notably, the film has been described as “a cinematic wake-up call” and has been featured in legislative briefings and environmental advocacy campaigns.

THURSDAY: Vendors, the facility opens at noon and stays open until 9pm for setup.
FRIDAY: Free Breakfast For Vendors, campers and Volunteers Starts at 6:30 and ends at 7:30. Venue opens at 8am to the public and closes at 6pm. Free Pot Luck dinner will start at 6pm for Vendors, campers and Volunteers and end at 9pm.
SATURDAY: Free Breakfast For Vendors, campers and Volunteers Starts at 6:30 and ends at 7:30. Venue opens to public at 8am and closes at 4pm. Banquet gate opens at 5pm and runs to 10pm
