Montana Fur Harvesters upcoming Events

At Montana Fur Harvesters our goal is to reach out to the public. One of the methods is to setup our Furbearers & Predators booth at local Farmer Markets and other public events. These are scheduled on a weekly basis due to available space and commitments. We will be attending muliple community events throughout the Summer

Through out the year we put on training events Most of these are free to the public. Our fur clinics run in the Spring. Trapping skills clinics are planned. We are collaborating with some other outdoor groups to host additional events this summer.

This event draws up to over four thousand visitors to our booth. It is 5 days of long hours, hot weather and some thunderstorms to settle the dust. This is one that needs as many volunteers as we can get. This year the dates are August 12-16th

Our members make up most of the Fish Wildlife and Parks Trapper Education instructors. FWP schedules classes across the state. The Fur Harvesters instructors put on classes each Spring an Fall in Missoula and Kalispell. Watch FWP's website for future dates.
