The lively environment of the live auction was filled with anticipation and excitement. The rapid pace and the possibility of securing a coveted item did lead to an exhilarating experience for participants. The heightened engagement did attract a larger audience and encouraged more active participation, resulting in fun for those attending.

The theme of the event is to attract people interested in the historical use of the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, trapping, camping and wildlife conservation.
The Lake County Fair Grounds located in beautiful Western Montana will be dedicated to the event. We have several buildings for inside vendor booths, the main buildings are almost full but we still have secured covered areas and some outside courtyard spaces. Tailgaters can setup outside.
Some of the Mountain Men Cast will be on hand to meet and greet the public. A mountain man camp and contest will be going on. Trapping demo's will be held both days. Hounds men will be demonstrating dog health, training and how they can trail a predator. Mountain men will give a seminar on muzzleloader firearms and live fire.
- The Kids Cave will be home to many youth activities that the families can take part in. (PARENTS REQUIRED) "Go on a Wolf Hunt" obstacle course: Push thru bushes, balance on logs, step across a steam and make it to the finish line! Feel Boxes: Feel inside the box, don't peek! Can you guess what it is? Lift the lid and see. Color station: Choose a color sheet and add some color. Then decorate it with items from nature, such a seeds, pine needles and leaves. Finish off your animal creation with googlie eyes for a fun touch! Make a fire starter: Make your own fire starter to take home! Learn how to build a fire, put out a fire and why fire starters should be in you pack.
